I hope you’re already enjoying seeing yourself reading even TWO times faster. Even if you think it’s impossible I’m gonna make from you a proper believer! Let’s get to the point!

1. Take a book and set alarm for three minutes, before you start reading mark a start point.
2. Start reading it and when the alarm rings count how much words you’ve read (‘a’ and ‘or’ counts as a word).
3. Now share this number in three and write it down.

now, it’s time to speed the things up!

1. Find a grill stick (the wooden one) or something that it’s thin, yet 10-20cm long (pencils are cool).
2. Use a fire or black strong marker to color the last two centimeters of it.
3. Set alarm for three minutres and while reading use your new “wand” as a pointing stick, just move it along (and under) the current line. When you feel comfortable with speed you can start moving it faster and you will notice that it’s ok and you understand everything.
4. When alarm hits, mark where you’ve finished and count how much words you’ve read. Split it in three and you will have wpm – words per minute.

You will also notice that if without the pointer it was much lower! In many cases the speed goes from 200 to 350 or even 400 words per minute! Now where’s that magic? It was banished in primary school. Probably you remember your beginnings with reading, you were putting your finger under the letter and then moving along, along, along… until someone said “hide that finger – you’re a big girl/boy, you don’t need it!”. Not only said but pressed. Well the thing is that we use the pointer naturally… 95% (or even more) of humanity start out reading progress with their natural pointer and if this process wouldn’t be disturbed most of us would read extremely fast. Using technique from this speeding reading tutorial can easily boost your wpm from 200 to 500 or even 600 in under two weeks. The first jump is significant and then it takes some practice to get another 30% of speed up and that’s just first of techniques I’ll cover on my site! Thumbs up!
