Instant Self Hypnosis

You probably know that you can perform an “act of self hypnosis” and i guess 5 minutes is what you can call instantly? As for the second I assume that you want it so you don’t need Hypnosis Myths & Facts article to loose any fears you could have had. Let’s just say it’s perfectly safe and you can go out from trance whenever you want.

What you gonna need?

  • - up to 20 or 30 minutes of time, you can make it shorter but believe me or test on yourself… once your in this pleasant state you want to stay longer :D
  • - a place in which you can relax so nobody disturb you can feel comfortable
  • - if you’ve got a cell phone rubbish it :) just joking – switching off is enough

Instant Self Hypnosis Technique Script

Preparation
1. Lay down with arms by your sides and uncrossed legs (crossing them creates tension and what we want is to relax).

Part I
1. Find a point on the ceiling, piece of wall or furniture – let it be characteristic so later you don’t need to look for it.
2. Looking at this point repeat in your mind:
- my eye lids are heavy and relaxed,
- muscles of my eyes are tired and relaxed,
- my eyes are so relaxed and heavy that simply want to close.
While repeating be sure to concentrate on point you’ve chosen, look at it deeper and deeper, even see it zoomed
3. When you feel your eyes ready/wanting to close just do that and imagine a wave of light going from top of your head until tips of your toes that relaxes your whole body.

Part II
1. Repeat 3 to 5 times in your mind:
- “My right hand is heavy, my right hand is getting heavier, my right hand goes deeper and deeper. It’s so relaxed that I’m stopping to feel it”.
2. Repeat the same but with left hand.
3. Now this:
- say to yourself few times “My eyes, are heavy and relaxed”
- “Now I’ll count from one to 3 to 1 and my eyes will relax even deeper”
> count from three to one
- “My eye lids are so relaxed that I cannot open them” and TRY to open, after two-three seconds stop trying.
- say “Now I’ll count from 1 to 3 and my eyes will open easily” and look at point you’ve chosen before.
4. Look at that point and repeat routine from point 2 of part I.

Part III
1. Do the same as in Part II but change hands for legs :) if you want before saying the relaxation routine for each leg you can say:
- “My right hand is relaxed so deeply that i stopped to feel it now my right leg is…”, i get relaxed better with this one.
2. If you want leave the eyes relaxation routine and when you close.
3. When you close your eyes again (the third time) do the energy routine and say to yourself:
- “My hands and legs are deeply relaxed. Now I’ll count to three and open my eyes one more time.”.
4. When you have your eyes open and of course looking at point notice how relaxed your body is and say:
- “Now I’ll close my eyes and relax even more. Then I’ll count from 3 to 1 and fall into deep hypnotic trance”.
5. Close your eyes, imagine yourself a door and say to yourself:
- “When I arrive at number 1 I’ll open this door and found myself in deep hypnotic trance”,
6. Count from three to one and pass through door you’ve imagined.

Part IV
You’re now in a hypnotic state, whatever you want or dream or want goes directly into your subconscious so use this state to program your mind. Whenever you want to go out simply count from one to five.

Afterword on programming in hypnotic trance
In near feature I’ll write more about it but for now remember about these things:

  • > imagine achieved goal, not the way to get it. example: if you want your muscles to grow faster simply see yourself in a mirror saying “how the hell this grew so fast?!” while touching your biceps.
  • > the more plastic and real image/movie your create in your mind the better it’ll work. don’t worry if it’s not “full of special effects”, your imagination skills will improve with time, on the beginning i was seeing just black screen ;)
  • > the more times you gonna go into this trance the easier and more effective it becomes.
  • > and one more, very important thing about hypnotic trance:


When in hypnotic trance all the suggestions pass-by validation of your inner critic if they’re consciously accepted by you.


“Critical factor” is guard-dog of our subconscious mind. In shortcut:
1. You acquire new information.
2. The information is compared to what’s in your subconscious (like your beliefs).
3. If it doesn’t match your belief it’s rejected.

Example:
1. The information is “I remember everything perfectly”.
2. Verification with our beliefs fail because our inner critic says “That’s not true because you’ve forgot about your aunts birthday last year!”.
3. The information is rejected.

Hypnosis is a technique that lets you pass critical factor and fill your mind with new positive beliefs and once they’re in your subconscious mind they start to work for you as you wanted them to! :) Hope you enjoyed and believe that you gonna make a good use of this technique and practice it often, if you’ve got any question leave a comment and I’ll be more than happy to respond!
